Designer Yanko Andreev imagined a very interesting, clean and user-friendly interface for the next iteration of Windows Phone, that involves a brand new Metro UI.  The designer wants to see a 5 inch device with 1280 x 800 resolution by the end of a year, a Windows Phone Apollo model and all the features of this concept Windows Phone release came from him and the suggestions he got from users. The UI is created with the idea of an infinite canvas, so there’s no need to be limited by the screen. This render brings us a new lockscreen, that allows you to choose clock size and position, type notifications and weather settings. Landscape mode is also supported.

The new tiles are live, active and scrollable ones with direct control from them, so you won’t have to enter the tile to change something. Also, there are 3 active and customizable swiping modes for each part of the display, depending on the landscape or portrait mode. So, if you swipe from the right of the screen you’ll reveal the last notification and when you swipe from the bottom you open up the applications. The idea of swiping must have come from Windows 8.
